USHJA International Hunter Derby, presented by
Devoucoux saw twenty seven horse and rider teams tackle the beautiful course designed by Allen Rheinheimer on the world renowned grass grand prix field. Hunter judges Chance Arakelian, Tony Sgarlata, Scott Fitton and Marlene Thomas officiated.
Alina Dumitrescu's Shutterbug, ridden by Tim Maddrix of Leeds, Alabama won the class after holding the lead in both the Classic and Handy Rounds with their scores of 186 and 207.5, respectively, for an overall 393.5. Loretta Patterson's Triompf, ridden by Holly Shepherd of Grand Bay, Alabama was on Maddrix and Shutterbug's heels with their Classic and Handy Scores of 183 and 209, respectively, which would have them earn an overall 392 for second place.
Shepherd returned to the winner's circle for the third place ribbon in the irons of Cynthia Hallman's Fig Street's Duchess for their combined score of 381.5. Helen Gilbert's White Lightening, piloted by Sarah Young of Spring Hill, Kansas, placed fourth with their combined score of 363.5. Fifth was awarded to L & W Equine Investments' Echo Park, ridden by Courtney Calcagnini of Bartonville, Texas for their combined score of 355.
Maddrix and Sarah Diglorgio's Quarterback Z finished in sixth place after earning a combined score of 346 and Debbie Holland's Flamboyant, ridden by Shepherd, grabbed the seventh place ribbon with their overall score of 342.
Christina Fisher of Alpharetta, Georgia and her own Zanzibar earned an overall score of 318 for an eighth place finish and Fitz, owned by Meghan Flanagan and ridden by Isabel Harbour of Alpharetta, Georgia, finished in ninth place for their combined score of 310. Tenth was awarded to Love Game, owned by EMC International and ridden by Evan Coluccio of Middleburg, Virginia for their overall score of 310 and Re Chiste, owned by Sabina Holtzman and ridden by Carson Ruff of Jackson, Missouri finished in eleventh place for their overall score of 306. Dominique Damico of Berwyn, Pennsylvania and Daniel Damen's Nemesis 11, wrapped up the class with a twelfth place finish for their combined score of 293.

Kruse Cushion Ride [KCR], followed the International Hunter Derby and welcomed twenty five horse and rider teams to the field and saw Riley King's
Refined, ridden by Tom Brennan of Charles Town, West Virginia, earn the blue ribbon.
Elizabeth Faraci's Phelps, ridden by Megan Young of Jacksonville, Florida came in second and Courtenay Billings' Don't Tell, ridden by Sarah Milliren of Athens, Georgia placed third. Brennan returned for a fourth place ribbon in the irons of Lynn Rice's Callucci and Isabella Bleu Baxter of Wright City, Missouri, rode Lakeview Inc.'s Gin Fizz to a fifth place finish.
Sixth was awarded to Micaela Kennedy's Balletomane, ridden by Holly Shepherd and seventh was picked up by Vancouver, owned and ridden by Maddie Thorn of Flower Mound, Texas.
Denver S, owned by Aaron Vale and ridden by Isabel Harbour of Alpharetta, Georgia, placed eighth overall and
Quote Me, owned by Mercedes Flett and ridden by Courtney Calcagnini of Bartonville, Texas, placed ninth. Helen Gilbert's
Primera, ridden by Ashley Shaw of Ellisville, Missouri earned a tenth place finish and
Roland Park, owned by Mount Fair Equine, LLC and ridden by Dudley Macfarlane of Crozet, Virginia, finished in eleventh place.
